Ultra‑Trail Mogan by UTMB® WS 2026
The UTMB® World Series has announced a new event in China: Ultra‑Trail Mogan by UTMB®, set for 10–12 April 2026 in Deqing County, Zhejiang Province.
Hosted in Moganshan’s historic mountains, the race invites runners to explore bamboo forests, tea terraces, and centuries‑old heritage trails. With four distances — 20K, 50K, 100K, and 100M — the event welcomes both newcomers and seasoned ultrarunners to experience the unique terrain of eastern China.
Beyond the challenge, Ultra‑Trail Mogan by UTMB celebrates Moganshan’s cultural legacy as the “First Mountain South of the Yangtze River.” Sustainability is central, with initiatives such as low‑carbon transport, biodegradable materials, and “Leave No Trace” practices woven into the event.
As the 14th UTMB World Series event in Asia and the 5th in Mainland China, Ultra‑Trail Mogan strengthens the circuit’s presence in the region, offering more opportunities for runners to earn Running Stones and join the global trail‑running community.
